About Me

Thanks for stopping by! Here is a (not so) short intro of myself, my work, and interests.

Who I Am

I am a software engineer currently located in New York City. I am also a recent Georgia Tech graduate, earning my master's degree in Computer Science. My brother introduced me to programming when I was a freshman in college, and I have been hooked ever since. I have a passion for writing quality software, while also learning and helping make life easier in the process!

What I Do

My primary focus thus far in my career has been mobile development. While I would consider Android my strong suit, I have experience working on the iOS platform as well. At one time, my career has also required me to take a brief detour into backend web development to implement API solutions to be integrated into client-side applications.

My Interests

On top of application development, I got extensive experience working in Artificial Intelligence during my time at Georgia Tech. I find implementing such algorithms and manipulating large datasets in Python to be pretty cool. I also enjoy discovering new ways to make mobile apps more efficient by exploring libraries and architectures. Outside of software, I enjoy just about any sport, fishing, and spending time with friends and family!

Education

I spent a long time in school, so I thought you might want to hear about it.

Georgia Institute of Technology

Master of Science, Computer Science

Concentration in Interactive Intelligence

Class of 2017

I recently completed my master's degree while working full-time! At Tech, I took courses with concentrations in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, software development process, and education technology.

Cumberland University

Bachelor of Science, Mathematics

Class of 2015

For my undergraduate studies, I attended Cumberland on a baseball scholarship (2014 national champs!). My coursework focused primarily on mathematical areas such as real analysis, abstract algebra, differential equations, linear algebra, and calculus. My senior project explored the underlying mathematics of elliptic curve cryptography.

My Portfolio

Below are published projects that I have worked on in professional, educational, and personal settings.
